WELCOME TO SANARTE!
The SANARTE History Walk is a site-specific self-guided walking tour which identifies key historic and cultural sites in Santa Ana’s Pacific Park Neighborhood. Nestled just south of downtown Santa Ana, Pacific Park is known for its diverse community, historic homes, Jacaranda trees, and the Pacific Electric Bike Trail.
Located on the segment of bike path between Chestnut and McFadden, SANARTE Health and History markers will display links to local history, informative videos and triggers to AR (Augmented Reality) Art experiences launched in Adobe Aero and ArtiVive. To celebrate the diversity of Pacific Park’s multicultural residents, SANARTE’s project website lists all historical descriptions and essays in four languages!
SANARTE means “Healing Art” and was created by Santa Ana native Pocha Peña
